HCP MACE

HCP MACE (HEAT.Capture.Plugin.MACE) is a MACE (Bohemia Interactive Simulations) third-party plugin that observes a running mission - entity positions, dynamics, health, air data, combat state, EW emitters and receivers, and a range of discrete events - and publishes it to HEAT Capture. It does not control MACE entities and does not receive aircraft control inputs: MACE and ARMOR remain the flight/control path, and the plugin only ever reads.

VRAI builds HCP MACE and hands over the compiled DLL directly; it is not published as a GitHub release, and there is no automated build pipeline for it. The plugin links against MACE’s own SDK assemblies, which are licensed to VRAI and cannot be redistributed or built outside a workstation with a MACE install - every build is done by hand, on a machine that has one.

What you need before starting

  • A MACE installation with a valid license, matching the MACE version HCP MACE was built against.
  • HEAT Capture running and reachable from the MACE workstation, with a user signed in - the plugin waits for an authenticated Capture session before it will publish anything.
